Regulatory Compliance Officer About the Role: Join our dynamic team as a Regulatory Compliance Officer and play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization maintains the highest standards of legal and ethical compliance. As a key member of our compliance and risk management division, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive policies and procedures that safeguard our operations and protect our reputation. Key Responsibilities: - Staying up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices - Conducting thorough risk assessments and gap analyses to identify potential compliance risks - Designing and implementing robust compliance programs, policies, and training initiatives - Monitoring and auditing business activities to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations - Collaborating cross-functionally to address compliance issues and drive continuous improvement - Serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all matters related to regulatory compliance Candidate Requirements: - 5-10 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role, preferably in a highly regulated industry - In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders - Proven track record of developing and implementing successful compliance programs - Bachelor's degree in law, business, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred Salary & Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary range of CAD $80,000 to $120,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement contributions, and opportunities for professional development.
