Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable software solutions that deliver high value. This role requires deep expertise in modern software engineering practices, with a strong focus on Python, Django, and PostgreSQL. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain highly efficient, reusable, and reliable Python and Django application code. - Optimize application performance and scalability. - Work closely with front-end developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to implement features. - Design database schemas and write optimized queries in PostgreSQL. - Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices in engineering. Requirements & Qualifications: - 5-8 years of experience in backend development, specifically with Python and Django. - Strong knowledge of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL. - Experience in designing RESTful APIs and microservice architectures. - Experience with unit testing frameworks and CI/CD tools. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
